I am still searching for beauty in my work, but I think that beauty is more than skin deep. There is beauty in truth, in understanding and in personal histories.
This ‘Body of Work’ is an accumulation of three series of photographic work done since 2010 and a new video installation created for this exhibition. In that sense it is a body of my work, and it is work that contemplates the body and my associated musings on the body.
Body of Work was the inaugural exhibition to Ion Art’s initiative to support and recognize mid-career and established Singaporean photographers.
